
Nine Isle of Man residents have been fined a total of just under £4,000 for failing to get their tax returns in on time.
Magistrates handed out the fines at Douglas courthouse, ordering the defendants to pay up to £500 each, plus court costs.
The Treasury says the individual penalty can be up to £5,000.
