RTLC determines maximum fares to be charged later this month

Taxi fares on the Isle of Man are set to rise later this month.

The body responsible for setting the tariffs has determined that the maximum fares be charged from 22 April.

The Road Transport Licensing Committee (RTLC) has made the decision following a recent review of the fare tariff metre.

It's the first increase since 2024, and the body says that inflation and the cost of living has increased 'markedly' since then.

There'll be no changes to fares after 11pm, but before then the flag drop will rise by 20p to £4.

The cost of each item stowed in the boot will also go up by 10p to 60p each, and the contamination fee will go up by £50 to £150.

You can see the full list of changes below.
