Will attempt to learn Manx in a day with vodka
A language teacher from Wales will be attempting to learn Manx on Monday – in a single day, live over the internet and fortified by shots of vodka!
Aran Jones from Pwllheli founded the SaySomethinginWelsh.com website and will broadcast the attempt live over Google Hangouts, with a shot of Manx vodka before each session.
He’s taking on the challenge to celebrate a new Manx course set up by his website and Culture Vannin.
He’ll learn the language between 8.30am and 7.30pm, before trying his knowledge out in conversation with Manx Language Officer Adrian Cain.
