NAHT president visits Island for AGM
Things are getting 'particularly difficult' in the ongoing dispute over teachers' pay between Island staff and the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
That's according to NAHT General Secretary Paul Whiteman.
The union's AGM is being held on Tuesday night, for which the national president and north west president have flown over, to show solidarity with local members.
Mr Whiteman says the meeting is an ideal opportunity to directly hear the difficulties faced by teachers and what the union can do to help:
New Year Honours for six Isle of Man residents
Island enjoyed 'reasonable' summer despite no record-breaking temperatures
Head of Ambulance Service 'really privileged' to receive New Year Honour
Chief Fire Officer 'overwhelmed' after receiving New Year Honour
