Education minister pays tribute in Tynwald
The education minister has praised teachers on the Isle of Man who've gone through what he’s described as a ‘very difficult period’.
Dr Alex Allinson says by working together - and with parents and pupils - the education system will emerge stronger.
Schools across the Island remain shut after a significant rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.
Speaking in Tynwald this week Dr Allinson read a letter he'd received which he said highlighted the important work teachers do:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
