19-year-old admits riding without due care and attention
A Ramsey teenager who sustained leg and shoulder injuries when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle has admitted riding without due care and attention.
Benjamin Ian Bell of River View pleaded guilty following the incident on Curragh Road in St John's.
The court heard the 19-year-old was riding behind a van in July last year when he attempted an overtake, failing to realise there was another vehicle in front of the van.
He collided with second vehicle and was thrown from his bike, resulting in a number of injuries.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood adjourned matters ahead of sentencing on 16 January.
