On-site emergency systems at the gas sphere site near Douglas Harbour are being tested this afternoon (Thursday 23 July).
It will begin at 2pm and last for around 90 minutes.
Emergency service vehicles and personnel will be in the area; but Isle of Man Energy have emphasised it is a planned training exercise and there is no risk to the public.
The scenario has been designed to test on-site emergency procedures and the way different agencies work together in response to a simulated incident.
