Testing pathways to be considered for police officers

Could stop shortage of key workers

Police officers could be put on testing pathways to get them back to work quicker after self-isolation.

The health and social care minister says it’s one way to try and stop a shortage of key workers.

Last week the Chief Constable raised concerns about the impact of the latest coronavirus outbreak.

Up to 50 of his officers were off work– either from contracting the virus or coming into contact with someone who had.
