Tevir Group buys Villiers site

Villiers House to be refurbished

The Villiers site in Douglas has been purchased by Tevir Group.

The company has announced it is the new owner of the plot, with work already getting underway.

The latest acquisition for Tevir Group comes following its recent completion of the purchase of the Castle Mona and the former Zurich headquarters on Athol Street.

This purchase includes Villiers House, Clarendon House, a development plot and the area known as the town square.

A clean-up operation is starting today. Earlier this year Douglas Borough Council served notice to the previous owners due to the lack of maintenance at Villiers Square.

Tevir Group announced it plans to refurbish the vacant Villiers House - which was last used by RBSI, work to improve services for the current tenants at the neighbouring Clarendon House offices and is currently considering its long-term options for the development plot.

The company says this purchase reflects its ambition to progress significant development projects in the Isle of Man.
