Installation a memorial to the Great war
The leader of a community textile art project, to commemorate the Manx people involved in the First World War, says she's blown away at the response she's received from the public.
Gill Nicholls is collecting hand-made poppies to form large mosaics, marking 100 years since the end of the Great War in 1918 - contributions have been sent from as far away as Australia.
Gill's original target was to gather 2,152 poppies - one for each of the soldiers that died or were wounded at war.
She told Dollin Mercer that the running total had now reached over 3,500:
