At the time of the Centenary TT, the Trade and Industry Minister has been looking back at the event that never was.
In 2001 the TT was cancelled for the first time since the Second World War, due to the United Kingdom foot and mouth crisis.
But David Cretney, who was Tourism and Leisure Minister at the time, thought it was the wrong course of action then and would be now too.
On last night's Agenda programme, Mr Cretney (pictured) said the decision was a hard one:
Business groups welcome personal allowance increase but concerned over cost of government
Search on for new chief people officer
Superdrug to take over vacant Regatta store
MLP: Claims that there is no money don't 'stack up'
