A Kirk Michael family have had their Christmas ruined after someone broke into their house and stole presents and alcohol from under the tree.
It happened on Wednesday night when it's thought the family were in bed asleep.
Officers have described it as a despicable act to commit.
Police are urging local residents to remain diligent over the festive season and make sure their properties are secure.
Anbody with information about the Kirk Michael break-in is asked to ring Peel Police Station on 842208.
