Report to be brought before Tynwald
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas insists data will be protected if a Single Resident Record is introduced on the Island.
He's presenting a feasability report to Tynwald on the matter when the court sits next week (December 12).
At present, personal information on residents is kept on around 60 main databases used in 200 separate systems across government.
Mr Thomas says the move would make adminstration more efficient:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
