Eight-week consultation launched by Attorney General
The Island's criminal legal aid provision is the subject of an eight-week consultation, led by the Attorney General.
It aims to find out what people think of the current system and potential alternative approaches to take in the future.
It's part of a wider legal aid review project "led by the Attorney General on behalf of the Council of Ministers."
That review originally began as a 'SAVE' programme project for the Treasury - however this has now widened to include both criminal and civil legal aid.
