Local authority election set for 24 August
There will be three names on the ballot paper when Port St Mary goes to the polls later this month.
Private nanny Jillian Margaret Hamilton, retired civil servant Norman McGregor Edwards, and chef Karena Thewlis, will contest the vacant seat on the village's local authority.
The election was triggered by the resignation of Richard Ashcroft from the board last month.
The vote takes place on Friday, 24 August.
