Government guidelines will be followed if necessary
Organisers of the World Tin Bath Championships say hosting the event will give 'some enjoyment' back to the Island.'
Following the relaxation of social distancing rules, the Castletown Ale Drinkers Society has decided to run the event.
It's due to take place on the 22 August in Castletown Harbour and will include tin bath heats, along with team snake races and 'flying machine' contests.
All money raised at the Championships will go to local charities.
