Manx compete in road racing on the Gold Coast
Two Manx cyclists secured top ten finishes during Women's Individual Time Trial at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games today.
Anna Christian finished the 22.5 km race with 39.28.87 in 9th, whilst Lizzie Holden recorded a time of 40.07.94 in 10th
In the Men's Individual Time Trial, two Manx cyclists placed in the top half of the standings..
Jake Kelly led the Isle of Man team's contingent, finishing 21st out of the 53 total riders with a time of 53.23.94 - Sam Brand followed Jake in 22nd with 53.45.77.
Speaking just after his finish, Sam said conditions made the race tough:
Further down the standings, Nathan Draper placed 33rd, recording a time of 56.07.68.
