Top 80s and 90s bands for festival

Manx Telecom Bay Festival organisers have announced yet more bands who will be playing at the three-day extravaganza at Noble's Park in Douglas this summer.

Two special events have been set up for Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19.

The first is entitled 'Isle Love Anthems' and will see two bands from the 80s and 90s taking to the South Park Stage.

The second moves into indie and rock music with an evening called 'Rock the 90s'.

On the Saturday night, Noble's Park will play host to The Wonderstuff, best known for their hits The Size of A Cow and Dizzy, and the reformed Beautiful South.

The South, featuring three original members, will headline the evening, playing bittersweet love songs such as A Little Time and Don’t Marry Her.

Sunday will celebrate the best of indie and rock with the Lightning Seeds headliners.

Later that night they will be followed by Justin Currie's Del Amitri from Scotland and Liverpool indie band The Farm.

Festival organisers say there are further announcements to come, and you can get tickets for both nights at bayfestival.im
