The Katherine Crowe Band came third in the original song section of the Pan Celtic Festival, being held in County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland this week.
They won through to the international final with victory in the 'Arenne Son Mannin', or 'Song for Mann', at last November's Cooish festival.
Katherine wrote the song, called 'Just like me', in English and had it translated into Manx Gaelic for her to sing.
The winners of yesterday's original song class at the Pan Celtic Festival were the Welsh entry.
