Manx Utilities hopes to complete work in one day
Four-way traffic lights will be in operation at Quarterbridge today [Monday Dec 10] while Manx Utilities fixes a water leak under the road.
Monitoring systems picked up on the leak last week, but the authority needed time to prepare for the repair and to warn the public of the disruption.
The work will get underway at 9am, and it's hoped it will all be completed in one day.
Chairman of Manx Utilities Dr Alex Allinson MHK says the issue has to be fixed as soon as possible to prevent further problems.
