Travel disruption around Island

Today's weather is affecting travel around the Isle of Man.

A number of road closures will be in place in areas where flooding is likely.

These are planned for Castletown, Douglas, Ramsey, Peel and Laxey.

It means bus services to and from these locations will be subject to diversions.

The mountain road also remains closed.

This morning's Ben-my-Chree sailing to Birkenhead has been cancelled, which means the return journey is also off.

The Northern Civic Amenity Site is closed because of the weather, however they are open to anybody needing sandbags.
