The chairman of TravelWatch hopes both sides in the bus dispute will be able to move on, if and when it is resolved.
A deal has been put on the table by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure for drivers to vote on by Monday, February 11.
It follows months of wrangling, and four days of strikes by drivers - three in December and one last month.
