Cannan gives evidence to PSB committee
The Treasury Minister says his department and Manx Radio are divided over the future funding of the station.
Mr Cannan gave evidence yesterday (10 May) to a committee investigating the delivery of public service broadcasting on the Island.
He told the body that Manx Radio is subject to the same budgetary requirements as government departments, and he can see no reason for funding to be increased.
The committee, which is due to report its findings to Tynwald in June, will next hear evidence from the BBC at a date yet to be announced.
