Correct funding essential for future of service
Alfred Cannan says the Island's health department has made 'every effort' to save money across it's various areas of responsibility.
But the Treasury Minister acknowledges it's crucial to get the correct funding mechanisms in place in future.
The DHSC has overspent by more than £30million over the last three years.
Giving evidence to a public accounts committee yesterday (Wednesday), Mr Cannan said the department had worked incredibly hard to make savings:
