Covid support isn't for 'chamber mates' says Cannan
It's predicted government has lost around £200 -250 million since the start of the pandemic last year.
That estimate based on government support spending and lost revenues comes from the Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan.
He says despite this unemployment levels have improved in recent months and reserves have 'remained strong'.
Mr Cannan made a statement on the Economic Recovery Strategy to Tynwald:
Garff Commissioners hosting offshore windfarm drop in session today
Public invited to suggest new brownfield site for potential re-development
Anthony Allen re-elected as chair at Onchan Commissioners
