One resident submits over 10 per cent of requests
Freedom of Information legislation is creating a more transparent government, according to a minister.
More than 400 requests have been submitted across government departments since its introduction in the Island - with the majority of them being answered.
Data obtained through FOI has lifted the lid on a range of issues, including hospital negligence, drug abuse, safety on electric trams, and, most recently, VAT paid on imported aircraft.
According to figures from the Cabinet Office, one local resident has been responsible for more than 10 per cent of all requests submitted.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas is urging the public to be sensible with requests:
Minimum wage increase 'dreadful' for business owners
Last chance for central residents to respond to 20mph consultation
Road to close for 'very large' elm tree to be felled
Peel RNLI renews appeal for new Lifeboat Press Officer
