37-year-old also accused of provoking behaviour
A Laxey man will stand trial next year after being accused of assaulting his partner and her 12-year-old daughter.
John Francis Rory Stephens, of Ballacannell Estate, appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week where he denied two counts of common assault.
The 37-year-old also pleaded not guilty to damaging an iPhone and provoking behaviour – all of the offences allegedly took place on 24 October.
Mr Stephens was bailed to an address on Lord Street in Douglas – he'll next appear in court for a pre-trial review on 3 January.
