
The Island's sporting community has paid tribute to cyclist and athlete Kate Burge, who died in a road accident on Monday evening.
The 41 year old physiotherapist lost her life when she was involved in a collision with a Range Rover in Kirk Michael, while out cycling with friends.
Kate was well known in the cycling and fell running communities and a number of tributes from colleagues and well-wishers have been posted online.
