Two fatal incidents on same day
Inquests into the deaths of two TT riders will open this afternoon (Thursday).
Twenty-eight year-old Dutch rider Jochem van den Hoek was killed in a crash at the 11th Milestone last Wednesday.
Hours later Alan Bonner lost his life in an incident at the 33rd milestone during a practice session.
The 33 year-old from County Meath was the fastest ever TT rider from the Republic of Ireland.
The hearings before Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open at 2pm at Douglas Courthouse.
