Air accident investigators are on their way to the scene of a plane crash in Northern Ireland which killed three TT fans.
The light aircraft crashed in a field, close to a private airstrip in County Down, shortly after 9pm yesterday.
The plane, which had set off from the Isle of Man earlier, burst into flames killing the 53 year-old pilot, Hugh McKnight from Annalong, and two passengers.
Eyewitnesses tried to help the occupants but flames beat them back.
Police still haven't named the passengers, who were both 24.
