Peel candidate says manufacturers may drop out
A candidate in September’s House of Keys by-election says the future of the TT is not clear-cut.
David Pownall, who is vying for a seat in the House of Keys in Peel, fears major manufacturers of high performance bikes may consider not entering the event within the next decade.
Mr Pownall says its future could need revisiting.
The other three candidates in Peel - which will go to the polls on September 10 - are Leslie Hanson, Ray Harmer and Penny Hardman. Nominations for by-elections in both Glenfaba and Peel close on August the tenth.
