TT stars out in force to fight disease

Some of the biggest names in TT racing will take to the course today to help eradicate polio.

Douglas Rotary Club is asking bikers on the Island to contribute £5 to the cause, and join the stars for a lap.

As well as riding with the likes of John McGuinness, Steve Plater and Nick Crowe, participants will see a stunt performance from Steve Colley, and receive a t-shirt and a hot drink.

Organiser Ian Lewandowskyj says Rotary clubs all over the world will be raising funds to pay for polio vaccinations (play attached audio file):

Anyone wishing to take part should be at the TT Grandstand by 10am for a 10.30 start.
