Two local theatre companies gain multiple nominations in NODA awards

DCU and Centre Stage each nominated in 5 of 6 categories

Two local theatre groups have been nominated for multiple awards in the 2021/22 NODA awards.

Douglas Choral Union nominees:

Best Musical - Shrek & The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Best Director of a Musical - David Dawson

Best Leading Female in a Musical - Leah Carter

Best Leading Male in a Musical - Iain Dixon & Jonathan Sleight

Best Supporting Male in a Musical - Iain Dixon

The Centre Stage nominees are:

Best Musical - Grease (Full cast and crew)

Best Director of a Musical - Bethany Magee

Best Leading Female in a Musical - Leah Carter

Best Supporting Male in a Musical - Kaysee Craine

Best Supporting Female in a Musical - Jordan McCormack
