Collision sparks emergency turnout
Two motorists were rescued this afternoon (Saturday) after a collision on the Patrick Road.
It happened by the entrance of Ballamoar farm just before 3pm and involved two vehicles.
A person in each car was trapped due to their injuries.
Police and ambulance crews, plus fire teams from Douglas and Peel, worked together to release the casualties who were taken by ambulance to hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
