Focus on world of watchmaking
The world of watchmaking is marking two important anniversaries, both of which have significant links to the Isle of Man.
It's the year legendary horologist George Daniels would have celebrated his 100th birthday, and the 25th year in business for his most famous student, Roger W. Smith, whose company continues to produce world leading bespoke timepieces desired by collectors around the world.
George Daniels had his workshop in Ramsey and Roger Smith's business is also based in the north of the Island.
Simon Richardson spoke to Roger and asked how he would describe George's legacy:
