This year marks the 51st anniversary of the tragedy
Two Summerland memorials are being held this evening to remember the 50 people that died as a result of the fire.
This year marks the 51st year since the tragedy happened and residents are being welcomed to attend them.
The first will take place at 6.45pm in the Kaye Memorial Garden and the Mayor of Douglas Natalie Byron-Teare, Deputy Chief Minister Jane Poole-Wilson and survivor Ruth McQuillan-Wilson will lay wreaths.
At 7pm a service will be held on the Summerland site, organised by the Justice for Summerland group where a one minutes silence will be observed.
