Ordering a review of Tynwald members' pay, pensions and perks is a job for the Tynwald Emoluments Committee, not Chief Minister Tony Brown.
That's according to Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan, who's responding to union boss Angela Moffatt's call for the Chief Minister to instigate such a review.
She's also demanding they lead by example and take a pay cut.
Mr Rodan says the committee will be looking into the above issues, but not until after the outcome of the public sector pension review is known.
