Scouts earn badge for environmental work
A new programme is encouraging Scouts to become more aware of the environment.
The UNESCO Biosphere badge was launched earlier this week, by the Scout Association of the Isle of Man.
It's the first one to be introduced in the British Isles, and includes a series of challenges relating to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Scout Commissioner for the South of the Island Gil Costain-Salway says there are shared values:
Investigations and repairs continuing on Manxman
Flagship has been out of action since July
Domestic abuser who threw axe at partner sentenced
52-year-old subjected his then partner to several assaults
Enterprise Minister calls for businesses to find Island's next niche sector
Robert Cowell says the Isle of Man needs to innovate to strengthen the economy
Welbeck owner says buyer news 'still comes with a little bit of disbelief'
Michael George says a number of things yet to be finalised
