Day two of NASUWT strike in schools
Unions on the Island are warning of more strikes in future if government doesn't listen to them.
Today is the second of six days of industrial action for some teachers - schools have asked certain year groups to study from home due to the disruption.
Mick Hewer, the local negotiations officer for Prospect, and Debbie Halsall, the regional officer for Unite, are in solidarity with the NASUWT.
They say the issues faced by the teaching union are the same as those their members face:
Meanwhile, the education minister has revealed around 30-percent of teaching staff staged walkouts yesterday as part of ongoing disputes over pay and conditions.
