Upper Pulrose tenants to be re-housed

A tenant has complained to Douglas Corporation about the effects of living in close proximity to the demolition site, created by the scheme to replace about 50 houses in Upper Pulrose.

The woman, whose concerns were echoed by members of the Policy and Resources Committee at a recent meeting, is being re-housed.

Chairman of the Public Health and Housing Committee, Doreen Kinrade (pictured), says the remaining two dozen or so houses earmarked for demolition are currently being boarded up, and their tenants re-housed (audio file attached):
