Vaccine gap decision due early next week

Study suggests delaying second dose could offer higher protection

An announcement on whether the Island will extend the gap between doses of the coronavirus vaccine is expected early next week.

The Isle of Man Government has stuck to manufacturer guidance since beginning the vaccination rollout last month.

However, new medical research indicates leaving a longer period between Oxford AstraZeneca jabs could offer higher protection.
