
The family of the woman killed on the Tholt-y-Will road in April have criticised the authorities for not communicating more with them.
Gwen Valentine died after being hit by a car being driven by St John's man Donovan Kitching.
Last week he was sentenced to ten years in prison.
Her son Stuart Valentine says they would also like to be involved with the setting up of a possible inquiry into the circumstances of Kitching's release from prison.
After he was sentenced, Deemster Montgomerie said the system had failed both the public and Kitching.
