IOM Girlguiding badge and Beach Buddies highlighted
The environmental, cultural, and financial value of the Island's UNESCO status has been highlighted in a report published today.
As an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the Isle of Man encourages balance between people and their environment, while promoting sustainable living.
It's one of 160 sites that comes under the UK National Commission.
The report features chapters on UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man’s badge for Girlguiding Isle of Man, and also includes the work of Bill Dale BEM and Beach Buddies Isle of Man.
