Vandals have damaged the new cycleway between Anagh Coar and Harcroft Estate in Douglas, less than a week after its’ completion.
Sections of the handrail on the bridge have been unscrewed and removed.
The new link took 16 weeks to build and provides a safe walking route for children at Anagh Coar School.
Work will now be carried out to repair the bridge and make it safe.
