While the last week gave cause for muted celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the end of the war in Europe, much of the local news was still to do with the ongoing battle by the Manx government to get on top of the Covid-19 virus that has so altered our lives.
Government's next press conference will be tomorrow (Monday, 11 May), with weekend media briefings cancelled for the time being.
