The driver of a car had a lucky escape on Sunday, when their vehicle plunged into the sea from Battery Pier in Douglas.
The incident required a major response from the emergency services, including Police, Fire Service, Ambulance, Coastguards, the RNLI and Harbours personnel.
The driver was rescued from the water and is believed to have escaped injury.
The vehicle was recovered from the sea by a crane, before it could be taken by the incoming tide.
