Owners announce they're no longer selling the site

The owners of Victory Café have announced they no longer plan to sell the site, although they will be drastically reducing its opening hours.

It's said to be amid 'huge' challenges in the hospitality industry.

In a lengthy social media post, Vicky and Ben Quirk say the offers they'd had for the café didn't reflect its 'true market value and proven long-term potential', and they'd therefore declined them.

Instead, they say they're going to keep running the famous spot on the 31st milestone of the TT course, but it will only be open on a Sunday.

They'll also be shifting the primary focus of the business to events, including those specific to motorsports and weddings.

The move is also said to be partly as a result the number of Mountain Road closures this year, which they claim have almost doubled those of 2024.

The café will close on the 21 December before re-opening weekly from Sunday 1 March 2026.
