Views sought on teaching ethnic minority history and culture

Pupils, parents and teachers asked about adapting Manx curriculum

It's vital to adapt the Manx curriculum as the Isle of Man becomes more diverse.

That's the message from the Island's school improvement adviser as the education department seeks views on teaching ethnic minority history and culture in Manx schools.

A survey is seeking feedback from parents, pupils and teachers on how to include the subject in the curriculum in the wake of the Black Lives Matters protests seen worldwide earlier this year.
