MNH says item found belonged to woman of 'some status'
New theories have emerged about the Island's Viking heritage, after jewellery discovered on the Isle of Man was declared treasure.
Manx National Heritage says the items belonged to a Scandinavian woman of some 'status' from around 1,000 years ago.
It believes the artefacts, found in 2018, can provide new insights into the Vikings' social class system.
