'Virtual CYBERISLE 2020' has been organised to raise awareness of what steps can be taken to stay safe in the digital world, offering practical tools and insights.

The free government event will run through October, with the first week focusing on social media, with webinars available for parents and young people.

Speakers will include the Isle of Man Constabulary on policing the digital landscape, Barclays on fraud and cyber security, and Nedbank Private Wealth on ‘social media awareness’.

On Thursday (1 Oct), online safety experts Ineqe Safeguarding Group will be delivering safety webinars on apps such as TikTok, Roblox, Fortnite, and Snapchat.

CYBERISLE will finish with a panel discussion, which the public can submit questions to via Slide, using #CYBERISLE2020
